Yeehaw! The McAuliffe PTSA Used Book Rodeo came back in 2023 and was a success thanks to our community! We collected over 7,000 items that found new homes with our families and public shoppers.
Did you know reading and recycling go hand in hand? Our PTSA collects used books (and more!), turns the McAuliffe Commons into a bookstore, and lets our students (and the public) shop for new-to-them reading material! This event is a McAuliffe favorite and, because it is also open to the public, has gained quite a gallop in our community as well. It's never too early to start saving your gently used books, DVDs. board games, puzzles and video games for the Used Book Rodeo.
Book Collection Days: January 18-20 – Collection by flag pole and bus drop-off from 9:00-9:30am
Student-Only Shopping Days: January 24-27
Public Shopping Day: January 27, 9:30-3:30
