We’re excited to share that we’ve invited local chess masters (FIDE, International and National) to teach our grades K-5 students, with classes available at three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. You’ll find all the details in the flyer.

• Beginner Class - Wednesday 8:10 am - 9:10 am, 10/1 -12/10 (no class on November 26th), 10 classes
• Intermediate Class- Wednesday 8:10 am - 9:10 am, 10/1 -12/10 (no class on November 26th), 10 classes
• Advanced Class - Thursday 8:10 am - 9:10 am, 10/2 -12/11, (no class on November 27th), 10 classes
• Free Quad Sessions - Tuesdays 8.10 am - 9.10 am,  10/7 – 12/9 (no game on November 25th) in the school Commons

Class is contingent on a parent chaperone volunteer. Parent chaperones must be a McAuliffe PTSA Member and LWSD background checked registered volunteer. Please contact Chris Robinson ([email protected]) if you have any questions about your LWSD volunteer approval status.

*All registered students will need to fill out the emergency contact and participant permission form to be able to participate in the chess classes. Parents of registered students will receive the form via email.
