Thank you to all who attended the Sammamish Plateau Chess Tournament here at McAuliffe on March 26, 2010. Our Chess Club sold pizza and other concessions to the hungry participants and raised approximately $220 which has been allocated to a scholarship fund for the McAuliffe Chess Club.
The Eastlake High School Relay for Life (Team Drew lead by Nicole McKernan) also raised funds through a bake sale held at the tournament. Their sale of home-made treats raised about $70 for the American Cancer Society.
