Special Needs Chair Job Description

Attend monthly PTSA board meetings and general membership meeting
Attend at least one PTA-sponsored training event
Attend monthly Lake Washington PTSA Council Special Needs meetings
Keep McAuliffe community and Board informed about Special Needs issues
Initiate new programs or resources for the Special Needs community as needed
Coordinate Disability Awareness Week with school administration
Estimated weekly time requirements: 5 hours per week
