Our 3nd annual Fun Run will be our biggest and best fundraiser of the year! 100% of the donations benefit the PTSA programs. Students collect donations from family, friends and neighbors. Then ALL students run (or walk) on September 30th at McAuliffe Elementary. Money raised from this event funds school assemblies, classroom supplies, field trips, school clubs and activities (such as Outdoor Education, ASB, and field day), Art Start, after school programs, evening events, and more. Money collection envelopes, which were passed out last week, are due next Friday, September 30th.
On Friday, September 30th our students will celebrate their hard work with an all-school run to music. Students will receive wrist bands and sno cones at this event. On Friday, October 14th we'll have our annual Fun Run prize assembly, awarding students for their individual and class achievements. The following prizes will be awarded at that assembly:
Highest amount raised in grade level (1 per grade level):
* Nook Color
* Apple i-Touch
* Nintendo 3ds Bundle
* Lucky Strike: $150 food and bowling certificate
* Lincoln Square: 4 movie passes and dinner at Maggiano's
* Customized McAuliffe Lil' Lucky Scooter
* Family Fun Center: Value packages 2 and 3 + $50 food certificate
Highest amount raised in the school:
* Great Wolf Lodge: 1 night stay in a Family Suite + 6 water park passes
Most donations:
* Great Wolf Lodge: 1 night stay in a Family Suite + 6 water park passes
Class with the highest amount raised:
* Pizza party (one for primary class, one for intermediate class)
$75 or more raised:
* Entry into the drawing for the "Pitch Burst" (2 per grade level)
