Vice President, Communications Job Description
- Attend monthly PTSA board meetings and general membership meetings
- Attend at least one PTA-sponsored training event
- Approve all publicity flyers, online PTSA news postings and registration forms before distribution
- Publish and organize Back to School packets, end of year newsletters and any additional newsletters as determined by Board
- Manages advertising space sales and printing of the Student Directory by 10/31 of each year
- Coordinates with President on the "Currents" article for the PTSA Council
- Oversight for: Bulletin Board, Internal Publicity, Kiosk Keeper, PTSA email newsletter, Payload Packets, PTSA website, Reader Board, School Pictures, Tandem calendar, Yearbook.
- Estimated weekly time requirements: 5-15 hours per week
