Attention All Future Engineers!
For kids who love to build, design, and invent! You will use laptop computers to follow plans for constructing a variety of LEGO projects, then experiment with modifications to learn more. Some weeks we'll set aside our computers and create projects using other hands-on building materials (you'll be able to take home these non-LEGO creations). We'll use our projects to learn about simple and compound machines, gears, wind power, energy transfer, and other important science and engineering concepts - and discover just how fun becoming an engineer can be!
Please Note: The "Junior Engineer" class was formerly known as "Apprentice Engineer." You are welcome to sign up for Junior Engineer, but if your child took Apprentice Engineer last school year, please note the projects and curriculum are identical. Regardless of previous experience, students must be in 4th grade or up to register for Senior Engineer.
